- Shipping & Delivery
- We ship products within 1-3 business days for in-stock items by either USPS or FedEx. For merchandise that is backordered, typical shipping times will vary between 2-8 weeks. For items that qualified for Free Shipping, please allow 5-10 business days for delivery. TheDogOnline.com uses USPS and FedEx as its mail carriers. When you choose UPS as a method of delivery, we will use FedEx instead. Please email us for specific shipping requirements at info@thedogonline.com. For outside of US, please also contact us for the shipping rates. Our company also reserve the right to ship via the most appropriate shipping method.
- International
- For international orders, it usually takes between 1-3 weeks for delivery. However, the package might sometime take longer than expected for delivery.
- Sales Tax
- TheDogOnline charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped.
- Return Policy

If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may contact us for a Return Authorization ("RA") number within seven (7) days of purchase. After obtaining an RA number, we will provide you with instructions on sending the item or items back for a refund. All returns are subject to a flat 20% restocking fee and no refunds will be given for products that cannot be sold as new. Shipping costs on all returned products shall be paid by the customer unless the return is a result of our error.
To obtain an RA number, email us at info@thedogonline.com with the invoice number, product or products, action requested and the reason for the return. Returned items must be received by us within 15 business days of issuing the RA. After 15 business days an RA expires, and additional RAs will not be issued.
Please note that all returns require a Return Authorization number; without this number, returns will be refused.
Please allow at least 14 business days from the day you ship your package for your return to be credited to your credit card account.
Products Damaged in Transit
Damaged products will be replaced immediately (subject to availability), however, before e-mailing us, be sure that the package the item was shipped in was not damaged in transit.
Please include all of the details of your order and problem with the product in your return or defective replacement request. This will help expedite your request. Please specify if your order was damaged by the carrier when it was delivered as we will need to file an insurance claim with the carrier for the damaged goods. Make sure to keep the entire contents of your shipment, along with the packaging it came in as the shipping carrier will need to inspect the damaged items.
You MUST notify us within seven (7) days after the receipt of a defective item in order to qualify for a return for replacement or credit.
Undeliverable orders
Occasionally orders are returned to us as incorrect address, a PO Box and hotel address, failed delivery attempts or refused by recipient.
When the delivery agent returns an undeliverable package to us, we issue a refund by deducting the original shipping fee, handling fee and 15% of the value of products as re-stocking fee.
We can re-ship orders that are returned to us as undeliverable or unclaimed. However, customers will be charged for resend shipping fee.
